London Luton Airport

Located just 56km north-west of central London, Luton Airport is one of the largest aviation stations in the United Kingdom.

Traveling by train

Several trains set off from the Parkway station to London. Passengers get to this starting point by a shuttle bus. From here the rail service continues to central London in about 21 minutes.

Thames link operates direct rides to London Bridge, Black friars, City Thames link, Farringdon, and St Pancras International. Six trains leave every hour and this journey requires about 40 minutes.

Traveling by coach

The National Express departs from bays 4, 5, 6, and 10 outside the airport terminal. Over 75 services exist between Luton Air station and the city center daily.

Its Pick-up and drop-off points in the center of the city are Finchley Road, St John’s Wood, Marylebone, Portman Square, Golders Green, Victoria Rail Station, and Victoria Coach Station.

Terravision offers a cheap coach service in central London from Luton Airstrip.

At peak times buses depart every 20 minutes and stop at Brent Cross, Baker Street, and Marble Arch. A standard one-way ticket costs about 11 pounds.

Take a taxi

This is great if you don’t want to mix with other passengers. It is private and always on time. Make sure to ask the driver for the estimated cost for your trip.
