Disneyland Is Ready To Start Operations Again
Disneyland is a dream destination for a holiday vacation with kids.
Listed amongst the world’s most visited places, this tourist spot is planning to reopen to the public on April 30, 2021, with tight SOPs and limited capacity.
Here is the statement released by the responsible authorities.
“The day all of us have long been waiting for is almost here,” said Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort, in a press statement.
“We’re super excited to have more than 10,000 cast members returning to work as we get ready to welcome our guests back to this impressive place.”
After a long forced break, guests will again experience Star Wars like Galaxy’s Edge, embark on a cruise on Pirates of the Caribbean, and set sail with children and zip along Route 66 on Radiator Springs Racers.
After reopening, Disneyland Resort invites members of the local community to be the first theme park guests after more than a year of closure.
To ensure the SOPs and comply with governmental requirements, Disneyland Resort decided to manage the attendance through a newly introduced park reservation system.
It requires all guests to confirm park entry booking in advance. This reservation will be required before you enter.
The bookings will be limited and subject to availability. For now, only California residents are permitted to visit the parks referring to the current state guidelines.
Expect more information about the new reservation system.
Endeavor to keep checking Disneyland.com for the latest updates that include the available theme park tickets, dining reservations, vacation packages, and hotel booking.
New Attractions at the Park
As the venue opens it is coming with new allures.
Some of these are the new star Wars, family-friendly experiences like peter pan’s flight, and the emotional Whirlwind. There are some refurbishments underway.
Additionally, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish comes with new engaging scenes, including a dancing figure of Snow White joining the dwarfs in their cottage as the scent of a baking pie wafts through the air.
New shadow projections show the dwarfs as they march off to the mine singing “Heigh-Ho,” and the new lighting and shimmering effects make the mine sparkle.
Don’t miss a walk through the Queen’s den to see a new library of spell books, glowing potions, and bubbling flasks, toward the notable magic mirror. In the end, Snow White and her Prince Ride off into a golden sunset.
Avengers Campus is a completely new land expected to open at a later date at Disney California Adventure.
If you are after impressing your young ones, make sure to start with Disneyland. They will see Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse waving from the train station.
Disney Princesses such as Mulan appear at the Royal Theatre to wave and pose at a distance for you to take selfies.
Additionally, Disney California Adventure has a lot to enchant you. Pixar pals wave from the bandshell at Pixar Pier.
Guests usually share a laugh while taking snaps with Mater and Lightning McQueen along Route 66 in Cars Land. Parades and nighttime spectaculars will return later.
Aside from that, right now mobile ordering on the official Disneyland app is the only way to order food and drinks. Dining reservations are also available but for table-service restaurants.
Hotels at Disneyland Resort hope to welcome visitors again but on a phased mode of reopening.
The first to open is Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa (April 29, 2021) followed by Paradise Pier Hotel and Disneyland Hotel.
Travelers are advised to make use of the Disneyland App.
It helps to plan, do the mobile ordering, check park hours, view maps, make dining reservations, and also be updated with important information.
