UK Bans All Passenger Flights From Oman, Qatar & Ethiopia
It is bad news for the prominent airlines Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, and Oman Air after the UK announces a ban on all passenger flights from Oman, Somalia, Qatar, and Ethiopia.
These countries will be added to the UK travel ban list as of 04:00 on 19th March.
These flight companies are now not able to carry passengers into the United Kingdom not until the ban is lifted.
It applies also to private aircraft. They can only fly in cargo and provide air transport services for outbound travelers from the UK.
This is a major blow to Asia’s flight network since Qatar is a major carrier for people traveling to other destinations but connecting through the UK’s air space.
This embargo started with the United Arab Emirates in late January. The earliest date for people from England to travel abroad is 17th May.
